About the event
The Carquinez Model Railroad Society (CMRS) is excited to welcome Rapido Trains to the club for a special free mini open house on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
This impromptu event is a great chance for train fans, local families, and anyone curious about model railroading to stop by and enjoy an evening at the club. We’re thrilled to host Rapido Trains, one of the best-known names in the model railroad hobby, and invite the community to come help us give them a warm welcome.
Visitors will be able to see the layout running, explore the club, meet members, and enjoy a fun and casual open house atmosphere. Whether you are a longtime model railroader or just discovering the hobby for the first time, this is a great opportunity to experience the railroad up close and see what CMRS is all about.
