About the event
Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10am–4pm for a special 9/11 Memorial Open House at the Carquinez Model Railroad Society, with proceeds benefiting the Crockett–Carquinez Fire Department, our local volunteer fire department located just down the street. Admission is $5 per adult, with free entry for kids 16 and under, and all are welcome to attend.
In addition to trains running across our large HO scale layout, visitors can see a custom-built model of the Crockett–Carquinez Fire Department featured on the railroad, honoring the firefighters who serve our community. This Open House is a meaningful way to remember, reflect, and support local first responders while enjoying a family-friendly day at the railroad.
